The Double Stud Wall with Green Glue is your highest performing wall assembly. Here we compare the differences between adding more gypsum and green glue on steel and wood framing members. Currently most acoustical labs have a hard time plotting double wall performance accurately. Data extrapolated using NRC acoustical reports.

IB-1 Soundproof Clip Report

The IB-1 Sound Isolation Clip is an high performing decoupling value clip. IB-1 limits the connection points between the drywall and walls and ceilings framing. The interesting thing about the IB-1 Clip is that is perform just a well as a two stage clip with rubber after you load it with 2 layers of gypsum. For this reason it is the number 1 selling clip by far.
