Resilient Channel Wall with Green Glue – Short Circuit Study

Typical problem in using Resilient Channel (RC) being short circuited by a drywall screw not stoping at the Resilient Channel and driving into the stud. This is considered a short circuit and is serious problem with RC installation.

This is a study conducted by Orfield Labs to test the acoustic properties associated with the “Resilient Channel Short Circuit”.
